2008 Earth Day Fair - Arroceros Forest Park

Earth Day, celebrated every 22nd of April, is fast approaching, and as climate change, global warming, environmental protection, sustainable development and the green revolution are now hot topics (disregard political bickering), various activities are being organized to mark that special day.

In Manila, the first Earth Day Celebration for this term of Mayor Alfredo Lim is going to be held in Arroceros Forest Park on April 20. The event, I believe, is organized by the Winner Foundation, Inc.

Arroceros Forest Park (behind Metropolitan Theatre, beside Quezon Bridge), Manila

Activities:
On-the-Spot Art Contest for Kids (Ages 4-12; bring own art materials)
Cash prize for Art Contest winners

Food booths, sale of books, magazines, paintings, etc.
Chanting, Yoga Demonstration, Musical & Dance numbers

* No entrance fee
