Boardwalk

The last time I remember going to Boardwalk in SBMA was way back in college. Then I visited that beach yesterday, with Mon.

After doing a little grocery in Royal, I wanted to go to a beach just to enjoy the breeze and enjoy the vacation. Where to? Uh, not Ocean View, where we'd get charged PhP120.00 each. Oh, Boardwalk (uhm, is that still its official name?) where everyone gets to enjoy the sea for free. With a few people in jet skis and banana boat (of course that's for a fee, or is it bring your own thing?) I don't recommend the beach for swimming, though. Just my own kaartehan.

A day-advanced birthday celebration... My 24th birthday. Whoa, twenty-four!

First two photos are taken by Mon, post processing by me. Next two photos were literally taken by both of us, no post processing. Last photo's all original by yours truly. :)

Post publishing note: I have just realized how wonderful the sky was on that day. It was not the best day for shooting sunsets and the sky was not clear, but its colors ranged from pinkish to bluish to grayish and mystifying!

I loved that day!

I love the beach!

The photo was taken during a celebration at the beach a day before my birthday, an afternoon (and night) full of relaxing fun moments and love (yeah).

I was with only three close friends, with my family dropping by for a moment.

Simple. Despite the many people enjoying the waves and sand, plus the noise of the performing bands, it felt peaceful.

Oh how I want a simple life! But my life isn't really that simple. I've got to love it, no matter what!

Zambales Trip October 2004 - Ocean View

I was excited to blog about my recent trip to Anawangin and Capones Island last February. However, I left the images and video clips at home, and wasn't able to upload much of them, so instead of writing about that trip, here's another one. Zambales trip again.

October 2004. Sembreak.

As I remember, it was a hastily organized trip. My friends suddenly decided to go to Zambales and enjoy its beauty.

My hometown, Castillejos, doesn't really have its own beach. We have the Country Cottage Resort in Balaybay and St. Nichol's in Del Pilar, but they aren't beaches! So I "toured" them to Ocean View Beach Resort in Olongapo.

So now I remember, my friends have already gone to Zambales numerous times. Yeah, beautiful Zambales. ;)

The Family Night Out

It was a wholesome fun.

I actually did not want to go since I just wanted to hang out with my friends. It was fun, anyway.

A family fun on Nov. 3 at the SBMA Night Market. Lots of rides for kids, many bargains to splurge on. On-going until after the Christmas season.
